Printed Circuit Board
Project: Assemblage art of salvaged modern and antique components
Backstory: These electrical components were carefully taken from deconstructed digital cameras, and are known as “Printed Circuit Boards” or PCBs which serve to make electrical connections between the components. Functionally, this is similar to the compartments of the antique printer’s letterpress tray the PCBs are meticulously placed in which once kept a connected set of type blocks together for usage.
